Ancient-era Armor Hero + a touch of mystery-solving + no System + no golden finger + alternate history (modeled on the mid-Ming dynasty)
In Yong'an Town of the Great Ming, strange cases happen one after another.
A burly man uses his bare hands to tear his own throat to shreds, inch by inch.
A weasel speaks like a person, standing on a wall and eerily asking passersby whether it looks more like a human or a god...
The authorities close the cases with the verdict: “A fit of madness. Death by suicide.”
Only Su Bai, a low-ranking Jinyiwei guard, firmly believes that demons and monsters are at work.
Insisting on investigating the “Yellow Weasel Seeking a Title” case, he is reprimanded by his superior for peddling superstition and suffering from delusions. His flying-fish uniform is stripped off on the spot, his Xiuchun saber confiscated, and he is thrown out of the guard station.
But no one knows that fifteen years ago, a little girl with her hair in two buns had already taken his hand and pressed it to an ancient scroll, sealing a pact.
Down on his luck, Su Bai steps into the Tongfu Inn. The moment that dark-red metal token transforms into a red-and-white summoner...
“Descendants awaken, ancestors arrive. Long in strategy, short in delay, victorious in every battle. Xingtian Armor, unite!”
As crimson armor envelops him, his ordinary Xiuchun saber becomes a blazing Fire Punishment Sword!
As long as his energy endures, the battle will never stop.
Former Jinyiwei guard Su Bai, the mysterious proprietress, the haughty county magistrate's son Gu Wenzhao, and the hot-tempered butcher-turned-chef Zhou Dazhuang.
In this little Tongfu Inn, humanity's final line of defense, the Armor Hero team, officially assembles!
