The Blood Cross Siege: Survival Is the Only Truth

[Blood Cross + post-apocalyptic survival + gritty, no golden finger + ruthless decisiveness + ensemble cast + suspense and horror] The whole city mutates, and the Blood Cross descends. The infected weep blood, their mouths stretched in crazed grins as they revel in the thrill of slaughtering their own kind.

Chu He is just an ordinary high school teacher. When his students turn red-eyed and start cutting one another with utility knives, he promptly locks the classroom door, climbs out of a second-floor window, and flees into the night without looking back.

In a city full of madmen, Chu He's survival rule is simple: stay absolutely rational and never show mercy. He exploits the infected's sensitivity to sound, setting a chain of explosive traps in the commercial district and blasting the frenzied pursuers into chunks of bloody meat.

But the road to escape is far deadlier than he imagined. Chu He discovers that infected people are operating a heavy machine gun and setting up a barricade on the cross-river bridge ahead. A handful of highly intelligent mutants have already learned to deploy their forces. They even know how to use survivors' relatives as hostages, broadcasting their screams on a loop to torment them psychologically.

Surrounded by a deadly net, Chu He straps several homemade grenades to his chest and steps onto the bridge alone.
