You Told Me to Take the Blame, and I Crashed Handong's Economy?

In the conference room, Hou Liangping slammed the table arrogantly. "Lu Zezhou is a serious problem. He must be suspended and investigated immediately. Take him down by force!"

Sha Ruijin sneered from his lofty perch. "The interests tied to Handong Energy are enormous. Strip him of all his authority and make room for the Zhong family."

When the news broke, everyone thought the parachuted-in executive vice president was as good as dead.

Faced with a lethal trap laid by the powerful, Lu Zezhou didn't panic in the slightest. Instead, he issued three devastating directives:

"First, seal all strategic data under the SS-level security protocol! Anyone who forces their way in to audit the books will be treated as a thief!"

"Second, enforce the absolute environmental protection standards to the letter! Immediately cut power and gas to all energy-intensive projects across Handong and suspend operations for a hundred days of self-inspection!"

"Third, conduct a thorough inspection of all core equipment! Cut off energy supplies to every industry under the Zhong family's name indefinitely!"

The moment the directives came down, Handong was turned upside down!

Hou Liangping led a team in a forced entry, only to be pinned to the ground by fully armed elite security personnel. His legs went weak with fear.

Li Datuang stared at the GDP evaporating before his eyes, then wept bitterly in his office, his eyes bloodshot with panic.

The all-powerful Zhong family's finances completely collapsed. The family patriarch chartered a plane to Handong that very night and knelt in the rain, pleading for a meeting.

With the gates firmly shut, Lu Zezhou sipped his tea and smiled coolly. "Aren't you the ones who insist on compliance? Don't rush. The approval process takes at least six months!"
