At two o'clock in the morning, programmer Lu Xun received a work order that did not exist: to repair Room 404 of the Jincheng Third Hospital Morgue. There are only three rules in the work order: don't look back, don't answer unknown calls, and don't let the dead see your name. He initially thought it was a prank, until after the mission was completed, the girl who disappeared three years ago was "recovered" from the database. Since then, errors have been reported one after another on the last bus, unmanned live broadcast rooms, elevators in old communities, and midnight takeout orders. Every time an anomaly is fixed, reality becomes less of a fig leaf. Lu Xun slowly discovered that this city was not haunted, but that someone had written all the living, dead, missing persons, and unfinished old cases into a system.
