My name is Ye Pingan. I am 22 years old. I have no father or mother. I work as a cashier in a convenience store. My greatest achievement is to make the manager so angry that he quits with just one mouth.
I originally thought that this would be it for the rest of my life, until my 22nd birthday, I received the first "good news" in my life: my parents were found. Then the second "good news" is: they are gone.
I stood in the funeral parlor with the only inheritance left by my parents - a small amount of money. Looking at the two urns, my mind twitched: I have no hope in this life anyway, so I might as well accompany them.
So I spent all my savings and bought an abandoned cemetery that was famous throughout the city. Yes, you heard it right, it's the kind of place that's so haunted that developers run away.
Then I met three guys who were more unreliable than ghosts - a monk with the Buddhist name "91", who was complained all day long about whether he had accepted advertisements from a certain website; a Taoist priest who claimed to be "the most handsome in Longhu Mountain", who was a first-rate at drawing talismans and reciting incantations correctly; and a priest who claimed to be "the underground representative of the Vatican in China" and used mineral water that had been opened as holy water.
The four of us got together and established the "Cemetery Supernatural Office". Its main business is: solving all supernatural incidents.
My stories don't have earth-shattering scenes, they just deal with all kinds of trivial ghost things - I thought I met a ghost but it turned out to be my wife cheating on me, and I taught people who didn't flush the toilet.
Life is just a huge joke. However, being able to live your life as a joke is also a skill.
My name is Ye Pingan, and this is the day I guard the tomb. Life has to be lived.
