Shut Up! You're a Snake, Not a Dog!

Troublemaking, scheming black snake seme × fiercely protective, short-tempered pet owner uke

Lin Bai has kept pets for years, and has come to one ironclad conclusion:

Never try raising someone from scratch.

Raise them badly, and they'll kill you.

Raise them well, and they'll fuck you.

Either your ass or your life has to go.

It all began when Lin Bai met a beautiful young man during an elevator accident.

The young man was good-looking, gentle-tempered, sweet-spoken, and would call him with teary eyes:

“Bai-ge.”

Lin Bai always thought Shiran was just a sweet, pretty little thing who needed someone to take care of him.

So every day, he fussed over him, made him tea and meals, and guarded him like the apple of his eye.

Only later did he discover...

What kind of little thing was this?

This was a snake that had lived for who knew how many years!

Lin Bai: “...”

But a snake was fine, too.

After all, he already had a chatty crow, a sharp-tongued old cat, a slow-moving old tortoise, and a green snake that did nothing but sleep.

One more snake wasn't weird.

The problem was...

This snake was a master of pretending, a master of acting, and especially good at being clingy and jealous.

No one else could touch him.

Lin Bai couldn't be without him.

His favorite thing in the world was sticking to Lin Bai.

He was somewhat restrained before his identity was exposed, but afterward he stopped pretending altogether.

He practically wanted to turn back into a snake and hang off Lin Bai twenty-four hours a day.

Lin Bai finally lost his patience:

“Get your species straight! You're a snake, not a dog!”
