Act Fast! The Little Thirteenth We Found on the Battlefield Is Everyone’s Darling

Wenxian Sect is the foremost of the five great human sects, and one of the forces resisting the demon race. Its Third Elder, Qin Yuhai, loves nothing more than picking up children on the battlefield. Of course, he isn’t the only one who likes rescuing kids. When it comes to children on the battlefield, it’s first come, first served! Talent doesn’t matter: as long as they’re still alive, they’re all taken back. Those with spiritual roots cultivate, while those without them do odd jobs around the sect. The sect provides for these children in their old age.

That’s why Third Elder has picked up twelve children over the years. Almost all of them died on the battlefield. The sole survivor had demonic energy invade his body and had both legs amputated. As fate would have it, on yet another trip to the battlefield, Qin Yuhai found the heroine, Lin Erya, and named her Qin Zhixia. He only wanted the child to grow up peacefully in the sect and live a safe, happy life. But who could explain to him why the child he had picked up and raised with such painstaking care, the one who couldn’t even walk two steps without gasping for breath, was a legitimate heir of the Zhao family? Why was she risking her life for that lousy Zhao family?

From then on, Qin Yuhai had only one creed: anyone who went after his thirteenth disciple was his sworn enemy! He had already lost eleven disciples. He had to protect his little thirteen!
