Journey to the West: Defying Fate to Protect Tang, Until the Buddhist Path Resets to Zero

Li Qing transmigrates into the High Tang era, bearing the Fortune-Making Furnace. He rises from an unknown junior officer on the frontier. Just then, Li Shimin returns from the underworld, giving gods and Buddhas the chance to set their plans in motion. They seek to use the Journey to the West as a game board to seize humanity's fortune and secretly harm the imperial bloodline. Seeing through their hypocrisy and schemes, Li Qing stands up to Wei Zheng at court, intercepts Buddhist treasures, subdues the Black Wind Demon King, and alters Tang Sanzang's resolve. At every turn, he shatters the destined trials of the Journey to the West and exposes the gods' and Buddhas' Heavenly Dao conspiracy. As a mortal commander, he restores humanity's rightful place and defies heaven to rewrite the fate of the Great Tang and the Three Realms.
