After transmigrating into the world of One Piece, he becomes Noland, a member of the most exalted Celestial Dragons. While everyone else walks their slaves like dogs and lives a plain, unadorned life of corruption, he gets bound to the Myriad Worlds Capitalist System. The more wealth he plunders and economic turmoil he causes, the more invincible power he gains. So Noland puts away his flintlock and takes up the sickle.

No more buying slaves? That's right. He gives them wages, then has them take out mortgages to buy homes, locking their souls into thirty years of debt! Pirates are too slow at looting? Noland turns around and starts the Grand Line Investment Fund, drawing in the Four Emperors as investors. One short-selling spree later, the Beasts Pirates are a hundred billion in debt!

When the Paramount War breaks out, the Marine Admirals all go on strike. Kizaru spreads his hands helplessly. “Can't be helped. Lord Noland pays us far too much. Besides, he already bought the land under Marine Headquarters. If we keep fighting, we'll have to pay a penalty for breaking the contract.” On the Empty Throne, Imu stares at the bill in hand and falls into deep thought.
