[Farming and Leveling] [The Fourth Calamity] [Cautious Cultivation] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Wish Fulfillment] [Ordinary People's Struggle to Survive]
When the full-dive game Ascension opens its public beta, tens of millions of players around the world log in, only to discover that it isn't a game at all. They have transmigrated in the flesh to a brutal, real world of cultivation! No respawns, no System, no starter pack. Every player has been reduced to a lowly mortal serf, starving and enduring the overseer's whip at Blackrock Spirit Manor, a property of the cultivation sect Greenwood Sect. One wrong move could leave them worked to death or fed to demonic beasts. While the other players cry out in despair and struggle to survive, Chen Changqing quietly swings his hoe and watches the translucent prompts appear before him: [Hoe the field once, experience +1] [Spirit rice harvest complete, free attribute point +1]. That's right: of the tens of millions of players around the world, he alone has a game interface! While others fight over a mouthful of spoiled food, Chen Changqing is playing a hardcore farming and leveling game. Weeding, sowing, watering, harvesting: in his eyes, every dull chore is a sparkling experience point. Watch Chen Changqing lie low in the lowest-tier spirit fields and, through relentless grinding and leveling, rise from a lowly farm serf to cut down the lofty cultivators and become an immortal taboo who sweeps across myriad worlds.
The writing is okay, the protagonist has a personality, but the chapters are not coherent. In one paragraph, he is fighting, and in the next paragraph, he is eating, and then he explains why he is eating and what happened after the fight.
How do you describe this rhythm? It feels too fast, too tiring to watch
