[Unruly heiress who refuses to marry × gentle, celibate young master]

They were made for each other and fell in love at first sight. On the night of their engagement party, the man inexplicably ran away. Six years later, Su Wangye unexpectedly runs into him again, with two children in tow.

“Gu Yanci, I never want to see you again!”

The rakish man pins her in a corner, his breath teasingly close.

“Keep your distance? You were the one who kissed me last night…”

“Bastard!”

“That temper hasn’t changed at all. I like it.”

Everyone in Jingzhou knows that Gu Yanci is a playboy with a heart of stone, wielding immense power.

No one knows he has her name tattooed over his heart, and that he’d give up everything for her, willingly bowing to her.

His warm fingertips, rough with calluses, press against the small of her back. His breath brushes her ear.

“You’ve been avoiding me all this time. Looks like you still can’t let me go.”

Su Wangye looks away, her voice stubborn. “Sorry, sir, but we’ve had nothing to do with each other for a long time.”

“Nothing to do with each other?”

Gu Yanci gives a low laugh, his eyes full of desire. “I’ve been searching for you like a madman for six years.”

“What’s past is past. I’m doing just fine raising my children alone. I don’t need anyone, least of all you.”

Gu Yanci clasps her fingertips, seeing right through her act. With gentle, beguiling words, he draws Su Wangye deeper and deeper into his grasp.

“Ah Yan, even after I treated you like this, you still love me?”

“Maybe I don’t like you, but I love you. I love you so much. Just like when I met you ten years ago… You’re like the stars above me, lighting up every dark corner of my life…”
