On a rainy night, Su Ling died in a car accident, taking a lifetime of regret with her.
She could never forget how, shortly before her death, she watched her former lover shoulder the internet’s vitriol alone, wearing herself down in a place no one knew about.
Reborn one year before her divorce from Jiang You, the celebrated three-time Best Actress casts aside all her pride just to land a role in the same script, which stars two women.
In her previous life, they were estranged and driven apart by rumors, and their relationship ended in a hasty breakup.
In this life, she shields Jiang You from scandals and helps her through every hardship, giving her all the tenderness she kept hidden for a lifetime. Beneath her fierce devotion lies the fear of losing someone she has finally found again.
Jiang You is torn by this sudden affection. The wounds from their breakup have yet to heal, yet she can’t resist Su Ling’s bold pursuit.
They spend their days and nights together on set. In front of the cameras, they’re polite, distant colleagues; away from them, they finally dare to embrace honestly.
They expose the schemes of those trying to drive them apart and reveal the secret of Su Ling’s rebirth across life and death. Together, they clear every obstacle in their way.
Beneath the dazzling lights of the awards ceremony, Su Ling takes her hand in front of everyone:
“I lost you in my previous life. In this life, I’m going to marry you and stay by your side. We’ll never be apart again.”
