When Her Child Was Turned Away in Critical Condition, She Burned Down the Hospital's License

Shen Zhitang burned her medical license and traded her daughter’s life for a black-market clinic on the outskirts of the city. Lu Yunzhou quietly appears in search of the truth and prepares a lifesaving remedy for her. Granny Chen keeps her remedies secret, yet slips out at night to treat critically ill children with acupuncture. Zhou Yansheng leads a team to shut down the clinic, only to see surveillance footage reveal that his own mother signed the order. Lin Xiaoyu secretly copies prescriptions, preparing to expose the entire medical scandal. Pei Han smuggles medicinal herbs only so the poor can live long enough to see “the day they get a hospital bed.” She isn’t a doctor, yet she has become the last dose of medicine for millions of people cast aside. As the authorities’ investigation, pharmaceutical companies’ campaign against her, and the corruption of the System close in, could the license she burned be the spark that tears open the whole system?
