When Snow Falls and Swords Sing

Su Chen, a young candied-haw peddler, is swept into a conspiracy that threatens the entire martial world when he tries to rescue his childhood sweetheart, Liu Yao, who has been taken by Mingyue Tower. He draws the rusty sword his late mother left him and, after three days at the bottom of a well, grasps the true meaning of the "Sword of Sorrow." From then on, he walks the path of the sword, defying fate to change his destiny.

Amid flashing blades and clashing swords, he meets Ye Canglan, a cold-faced swordsman, and Xiao Yao, a free-spirited wanderer. The three swear a blood oath, vowing to unravel the thousand-year conspiracy of the Tianyan Sect and the Demon Sect. When the ancient Frostbane Sword chooses its master in a secret realm, when undercurrents stir between the Sun Moon Tower and the Tianyan Sect, and when both his childhood sweetheart Liu Yao and Shen Qingyin, the Tianyan Sect's Holy Maiden, appear before him, can the young man wielding his sword protect the one he loves?
