A story of two equally strong characters: a little sourpuss and a savior. The heroine gradually falls for the aloof, sharp-tongued young master and slowly grows accustomed to his kindness. Though brief happiness often comes at the cost of great pain, the heroine will forgive all that pain for the sake of a little happiness.
