Lu Chenzhou, a modern civil engineer, travels through the Qin Dynasty, starting out as a civilian husband on the Great Wall, and gets involved in Meng Jiangnu's search for her husband, Meng Tian's northern defense, Fu Su's seizure of the rightful son, and the Sand Dune Incident, and finally rewrites the world structure in troubled times and establishes the Daqian Empire.
