Synopsis

(Apocalypse + rational zombies + triple personality + undercover disguise + human nature)

“Brother Li, why doesn’t your heart beat?”

“Brother Li, why is your blood the wrong color?”

“Li Tian, are you human or a corpse?”

When other people turn into zombies and lose their sanity, he becomes a zombie with a clearer head than anyone else. While others hide from zombies to survive, he disguises himself as a human and infiltrates a survivor stronghold. All the while, he keeps his “Tyrant” personality, which could go berserk at any moment, in check, and bickers with his sharp-tongued, talkative “Strategist” personality.

By day, he takes missions to kill zombies and collect soul crystals. In the small hours, he sneaks out of the city with Dahei, a wrinkly Shar-Pei, to hunt high-level monsters. His teammates think he’s a Tier Three speed-type Esper. No one knows his true identity: Experimental Subject 073, the only person to successfully fuse the zombie virus with a genetic serum.

But after living through the apocalypse long enough, you realize that sometimes, it isn’t zombies who want to kill you. It’s the living.

When the research institute starts searching the entire city for “Experimental Subject 073,” when a million-strong zombie horde reaches the gates, and when the brother standing in front of you to shield you from the zombies asks, “Are you really human?”

What will you say?

Post-Apocalyptic World + Crystal Cores + Levels

The male protagonist has an axe and transmigrated back from a post-apocalyptic world. He was in an orphanage. In his previous life, he had a confidant surnamed Bai, I think, though I might be misremembering. Later, he becomes a major general and gets a genius bald kid as his sidekick.

Zombies! Zombies!

Looking for stories like "Doomsday: I Became a Zombie with a Mind of My Own". If you like zombie stories 🧟, give this one a try! The premise is pretty interesting: the zombie protagonist has a triple split personality, and the story follows its growth as a double agent infiltrating human society.

Looking for something similar to "Doomsday Escape: Don't Fall Behind!!!" It's the best post-apocalyptic survival and road-trip story I've read in years. I've spent 30 hours reading it. Highly recommend!

Zombie Apocalypse Stories with Crystal-Core Hunting and Awakened Powers

Looking for books like "Sweet Romance: The Little Demon of the Apocalypse Wants Kisses and Cuddles". Even better if the male lead is a special forces soldier and the female lead is a little demon.
