Jiang Yao was born twice.
For the first time, he was a ghost without a name.
The second time, he became human.
After becoming a man, he learned many things: money can buy dignity, beauty can be a weapon, power can make people shut up, and love and hate can make a name remembered.
He also learned about desire, possession, jealousy, violence, fame and control.
The only thing I haven't learned for a long time is that loving someone is not the same as owning someone.
During the long years in Bangkok, he went from a young man who dealt with evil spirits to make a living, and entered the world where the entertainment industry, capital, transnational forces and ancient beliefs intertwined; he had saved people, hurt people, offered sacrifices to gods, and was worshiped by others; he was always surrounded by a group of people who were willing to go crazy for him, and there were always people who left because they couldn't stand him.
And after a longer period of time, people will forget many things.
Forget his scandals, forget his awards, forget how beautiful he once was.
But some temples are still there.
Some names remain.
Some stories remain.
There are still people who will remember——
There once was a ghost with a very bad temper who finally learned how to behave.
