Jing Kong was playing a game on a handheld console he’d bought online, a Pokemon fan-game made by some random amateur developer. He’d bought it because he couldn’t afford the official version, and this one was cheap and had multiplayer.
But he got so excited that he stayed up playing for days on end, and suddenly transmigrated.
After transmigrating, Jing Kong thought he’d arrived in the world of Pokemon.
He excitedly checked out the System’s features, then, to his delight, followed the tutorial, picked up a stick by the roadside, and set off as directed to get his first starter Pokemon.
But the farther he went, the more something felt wrong. He crossed a range of rocky hills and found himself staring at the ruins of a vast city.
Jing Kong was nervous, but he continued slowly making his way through the ruins, following the tutorial.
When the directions ended, Jing Kong peeked out toward the area behind the ruins, about a hundred meters away.
A terrifying creature, over forty meters tall, brownish-gray and shaped like a mountain, stood there surveying its surroundings, letting out a low growl now and then.
Jing Kong hurried back behind cover in terror, peeking out every so often to make sure he wasn’t seeing things.
At last, he cursed under his breath in horror: “Are you serious? Is this Pokemon? Shouldn’t the first battle be against a Zigzagoon?”
“Isn’t that freaking Tyrantnosaurus from Ultraman?”
“You expect me to fight that thing with a stick?”

Very well written, good luck to the author! Don't stop updating, it's much better than novels of the same type, but it still has some shortcomings. The content feels a bit short, but after all, it is a new book and I can still understand it.
