Harry Potter: Hogwarts Can Do That Too?!

[Content warnings: 1. A Hufflepuff little flower of a heroine who grows over time, a social menace, extremely oblivious, with ever-shifting social skills. She isn't a perfect character. (I don't know where the strong heroine tag came from, but I can't change it.)

2. The beginning doesn't represent the final outcome; it's just one possible direction.

3. A story about a girl everyone loves, with many canon pairings broken up.

4. Set during the Marauders' era, with a focus on everyday school life.]

Claire Rosier's lifelong dream was to graduate from Hogwarts without a hitch and go home to spend the rest of her life doing nothing.

But life at Hogwarts wasn't as easy as she'd imagined. She had to learn tons of magic, read tons of hefty books, and write tons of parchment essays.

On top of that, she wanted all kinds of friends.

Her adventure began aboard the Hogwarts Express: two pretty Muggle-born girls and a boy who adored Slytherin. Claire liked them.

After arriving at school, she met even more people: a friendly roommate, a frail boy in her year, a cool Slytherin girl, a new student with an explosive hedgehog hairstyle, a distant cousin who never wanted to talk, and the gamekeeper her dad knew…

Claire thought they were all interesting. The only problem was, they couldn't all hang out together.

By the time she reached the upper years, her troubles had only grown.

She had more electives, but her circle of friends was growing at the same rate. Managing her time was a problem. How was she supposed to spend time with all these friends in a single day?

Gryffindors didn't like Slytherins, her female friends couldn't stand her male friends, and her male friends couldn't get together with each other…

Claire clasped her hands and lay down in bed. Forget it. She'd just go to sleep first.
