Chen Yanping was an utterly ordinary fitness blogger. He died in an absurd accident: while diving in the wilderness, a triangular rock underwater hit him squarely in the asshole. His last thought before death wasn’t fear, but anger: “This is so fucking humiliating.”
When he opened his eyes again, he had become Fujiwara Yanping, an overweight Japanese aristocrat who had attempted to hang himself in Tokyo in 1937. The marks around his neck hadn’t faded, and his mind now contained a “villainous business tycoon System.” Every month, it refreshed two harmful products that he had to package and sell as legitimate businesses. The first product: powerful laxatives.
And his family happened to own a factory supplying canned rations to the Japanese army invading China.
Laxatives + canned food = Japanese troops shitting until their legs gave out. Perfect logic.
Four Deer milk powder.
Fiberboard.
Ice betel nut.
Chen Yanping: I’m going to bring down the Japanese army’s logistics.
A Chinese man hiding in the heart of an enemy nation, wearing the face of a Japanese aristocrat, begins a long, lonely war of revenge without gunfire.
