In 1980, in a poor village deep in the Ten Thousand Mountains, a special forces elite transmigrated into Cui Niu, a timid villager. The original Cui Niu had taken in his fiancée and her younger brother, who were fleeing hardship, but his cousin framed and killed him. Returning with an iron-willed presence, he refuses to tolerate injustice or fear oppression. He takes on the village bully and cruel relatives head-on, fighting with all his might to protect his wife and his young siblings.
