Plum and Jujube

The story begins with a chance meeting in the countryside. A taciturn boy and a talkative girl spend nearly half a year together, leaving a vivid mark on each other’s lives. Little do they know that this brief encounter will forge a deep bond between them. When he grows into a refined young man, he boldly confesses his feelings. When she grows into a radiant young woman, the pain of growing up unloved in a dysfunctional family has robbed her of the ability to love. The boy tries his best to guide her, helping her gradually emerge from the darkness. But just as she learns how to love, he is gone forever, leaving behind only a farewell letter.
