A thoughtful, funny boy × an optimistic, independent girl [High school + College] [Bittersweet ending]
The story begins in summer, but ends in spring.
In her first year of high school, Zhou Sui Sui returns to her hometown of Wutong Town because of an issue with her student registration. When she picks up her military training uniform, she discovers that the class monitor is her childhood playmate, Xiao Tangyuan.
As they spend day after day together, feelings quietly grow between them. As graduation approaches, Chen Heyang confesses his feelings, and the two walk through the seasons hand in hand.
Tragically, during their senior year of college, Chen Heyang is diagnosed with terminal cancer. He passes away after receiving treatment.
His death is a devastating blow to Zhou Sui Sui. When she sinks into the lowest point of her life, her counselor tells her, “We doctors can't change what happened in the past, but we must work hard to change the future.” Thinking back on the people at the hospital makes Zhou Sui Sui even more determined to study medicine and save lives.
