It is the job of a spiritualist to be allowed to hear the voices of spirits and to promise to keep their secrets and grant their wishes. Junior spiritualist Wu Xiaoxiao owns a small basement on Windmill Street. The ancient stairs lead to its door, and the rabbit horn lanterns under the eaves illuminate the path of the soul. A lost boy who longs to be reunited with his father, a young man who wanders around the world hoping to see his lover for the last time, an autistic little girl who wants to let the boy she likes remember her name... Can Xiaoxiao realize their wishes and become an excellent spiritualist?
