The cream on the cake got on my hand, and I was hurriedly wiping An An's face when she suddenly stopped moving.
To be precise, her chubby hands that were patting cream suddenly froze in mid-air, as if someone had pressed the pause button. I was squatting on the ground looking for the slippers that had been kicked away by her. When I looked up, I saw her eyes widened, staring at the air in front of her in a daze.
"An'an?"
She ignored me, her mouth slightly opened, and her eyes looking straight. My heart tightened, and just when I was about to reach out and touch her forehead, she suddenly jumped up as if her butt was equipped with springs, and her two short legs stepped on the sofa.
"Mom, mom, mom!" She tugged on my sleeve desperately, with an inexplicable excitement in her voice, "I have a mobile phone! Such a big mobile phone! It's in the sky!"
I was stunned for a moment and subconsciously followed her line of sight. There was nothing on the ceiling of the living room except the paint-peeling chandelier.
"Where did you get the cell phone?"
"It's right there!" She pointed at the ceiling and stamped her feet anxiously, "It's so bright! There are also words!"
I began to seriously wonder if she had eaten too much cake today. I spent an entire afternoon playing in the amusement park during the day, and drank most of the cream cake at night. It might have been a hallucination caused by being too excited.
