The surface world: 2026, Vanity Fair in the entertainment industry. An accident backstage at the awards ceremony caused Song Yi and Tan Xing's souls to time travel.
The inner world: In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), the "Jinghua Mansion" in Shanghai. What they entered was not the filming scene of the TV series, but the embodiment of the "real scripted world" of the series that was cut in half. All the NPCs here act according to the original script, except for the fate lines of the two supporting characters that are "to be filled in".
