After I Transmigrated, the Ice-Cold Female Imperial Guard Started Hunting Me

[Two heroines + both chaste + happy ending + pure love + goofy protagonist]

Gu Yuge transmigrates to ancient times, but instead of a golden finger, she gets bound to the “Master Thief System.” The System forces her to steal goods worth 10,000 energy points before she can go home. So she begins her miserable life as a thief. From the start, she steals the county magistrate’s underwear, valued at 30 copper coins. By the time she has just 250 energy points, wanted posters from the Imperial Guards are plastered all over the streets and alleys.

Shen Jinglan, a hundred-household officer in the Imperial Guards assigned to catch her, chases her eight streets with a cold expression. The first thing she says when they meet is, “I’ve long heard there’s a perverted female thief in the martial world.” Gu Yuge fires back on the spot: “You’re the pervert! I’m being forced to do this!”

Later, Gu Yuge realizes that although Lord Shen constantly says she’s going to arrest her, she won’t let anyone torture Gu Yuge during interrogations. When Gu Yuge escapes from prison, she doesn’t really chase after her, and she even pays out of pocket to order her a whole table of food, claiming it’s her “last meal.” The more Shen Jinglan pursues her, the stranger the look in her eyes becomes.

“Wait, Lord Shen, are you trying to arrest me or court me?”

Shen Jinglan doesn’t answer. She just slaps her embroidered spring saber down on the table. “Everyone in the capital knows I’m hunting you. So don’t even think about going anywhere else. You can only stay by my side.”
