This story is mainly here to make up for regrets, to mend some of the things left unresolved in the original.
Later on, Lu Mingfei will return to the past, rewrite the future, and save characters from the original who met tragic ends, such as Lao Tang, Xia Mi, Erii, and Xianggui.
At the end of the road, Lu Mingfei awakens a new Word Spirit and returns with his memories to the time before he tried to confess his feelings to Chen Wenwen.
That night, Lao Tang was helping Lu Mingfei practice the English questions he'd need to answer at his interview for Cassell College the next day. Ye Sheng and Jiu De Ma Yi were waiting for Lu Mingfei at the Regal Hotel to interview him. The Literature Club gathering hadn't begun yet. Lu Mingfei hadn't confessed to Chen Wenwen or been humiliated by Zhao Menghua and the others.
The gates of Cassell had yet to open. No one had died. Everything was still fine, and there was still time.
Now, carrying his memories, Lu Mingfei will rewrite the future, make up for old regrets, and set everything right.
It would be nice if there were more human-written parts. I'm exhausted from watching this high-intensity dialogue.
The names in the introduction are all wrong
