[Adventure Ensemble | Mystery and Wild Speculation | Blood Pact | Human-Bird Romance]
[Primarily First Person, with Some Third Person]
◎My name is Xu Yu. When I was eleven, an accident took part of my memory. Seven years later, by chance, I returned to the place where it happened. In the Misty Forest, I met a strange giant bird. After all sorts of mishaps, we became good friends. It seemed to be connected to what happened to me back then...
◎When we met again, that mysterious giant bird could actually turn into a person. What kind of being was it? As I kept investigating, I began to wonder... Was this entanglement of fate?
◎As I dug deeper, I stumbled upon a thousand-year-old conspiracy by the last king of the ancient Dian Kingdom, as well as the "Blood Pact Curse" tied to my family's mission. And I had the power to put an end to it all...
◎Once the truth came out, I learned that what happened back then was connected to my parents. And during the year they were missing, they had actually been doing it for me...
This is a revised and polished version of another one of my stories, A Strange Encounter: The Misty Forest. I wasn't happy with how it turned out, so I rearranged the story and rewrote it. While keeping the key characters and plot points, the new version strengthens the worldbuilding and character motivations. I hope you enjoy it.
