Then a young Daoist in a blue robe entered the abandoned tomb. To the female ghost's surprise, staying by his side freed her from the graveyard's constraints, allowing her to follow him into the world of the living.

From then on, the ghost immortal from the tomb accompanied the young Daoist across the land, slaying spirits and guiding lost souls. One seemingly unrelated bizarre tale and strange case after another crossed their path.

Only after layer upon layer of mist was peeled away did they learn that every strange incident was drawn along the same thread of fate.
