Ultraman: Agul’s Sign-In Across the Ten Thousand Worlds

Ling Zhou, a veteran Ultraman fan who’s followed tokusatsu for twenty years, wakes up as Agul’s human host, with a sharp-tongued dive watch on his wrist: the Myriad Worlds Ultraman Sign-in System.

“Host, I recommend striking a pose for your first transformation. You chose to charge straight in? Fine, that fits your character.”

From Kobe Harbor in the world of Mebius to the ancient pyramid in the world of Tiga; from Cosmos’s gentle purification to Dyna’s miraculous time and space; from Gaia’s twin-sea resonance to Orb, Geed, and Ultra Galaxy Fight… He transmigrates through one Ultraman universe after another, signs in for forbidden techniques from the Land of Light, masters the signature moves of the Ultra Brothers, and writes his own legend in ocean blue.

He doesn’t fawn over any original characters. Saving Mebius is a matter of friendship; giving the Defense Force a hard time is only his duty. He refuses the Land of Light’s offer to recruit him simply because “I haven’t seen enough of Earth yet.” He isn’t a bleeding heart. He kills ferocious monsters outright, does his best to save monsters under mind control, and kills villains when they deserve it. He never tries to talk them into surrendering or reforming. There’s the thrill of showing off in front of everyone, and the pain of sinking beneath the sea with his light extinguished. The blinking timer, flowing particles of light, the weight and movement of the suit: this isn’t fantasy cultivation, it’s real Ultraman tokusatsu.

When Alien Empera’s darkness blots out the sun, when Belial Atrocious devours a city, when Tartarus threatens the multiverse, that blue giant will always rise from the sea.

“I’m not a warrior of the Land of Light, and I don’t belong to any universe.” “I’m just a passing Agul.” “But since I’m here, I’ll protect this place to the end.”
