I finished watching Attack on Titan a while ago, and I thought its ending was absurd! A far better ending would have been to achieve communism, with the masses using the power of the Titans to overthrow those who created ethnic divisions. But Isayama Hajime always steers the ending toward vertical social divisions and dares not draw a horizontal line between social classes. Maybe he never thought of it? Maybe he doesn't dare write it in Japan's right-leaning atmosphere? Fine. If you won't write it, I will.
