Honor of Kings: You Said You Were Retiring, So Why Are You Winning the Championship at the Bird's Nest?

[Alternate Universe] + [Ensemble Cast] + [KPL] + [Livestream]

Li Yile says he wants to retire during every livestream, and viewers mock his elderly reaction speed every day, calling him an outdated jungler.

Three years ago, at fifteen, he was the number-one player on the peak ladder, with a historic rating of 2,700, and the top-ranked Jing in the country.

Several clubs sent him offers at once. He gave them just one answer: "I'm not joining the academy. I want a starting position."

The night before he signed, the club abruptly replaced him. Prideful and furious, he tore up the contract on the spot, missed every tryout window, and disappeared from the scene, becoming a bottom-tier streamer.

Three years later, his former teammates, unwilling to leave things unfinished, put together a makeshift team of five.

No one expected this streamer who kept shouting about quitting the scene to still dominate the jungle with terrifying skill.

Nuan Yang: "Li Yile's magical Flying Thunder God technique with Jing is terrifying! If I hadn't played in the KPL for a few more years, the FMVP for Jing would definitely have gone to him!"

Zhong Yi: "Li Yile's lane pressure is insane! He's the true number-one jungler in the KPL!"

Xiao Pang: "His jungle instincts are practically a cheat! Even when I'm full, I still can't beat Li Yile!"

Zongshi: "In front of Li Yile, my Jing is nothing but a foolish little brother!"

After battling through the amateur qualifiers and making countless comebacks from behind, they somehow fought their way all the way to the KPL grand final at the Bird's Nest, watched by millions.

A golden rain fell from the sky, and the whole internet erupted: You keep saying you want to retire, so how did you end up winning the championship at the Bird's Nest?

Li Yile smiled. "We're all the same age. I never meant to crush everyone with a whole different level of skill!"
