I really liked this book. It felt like the life and people at that time were really before my eyes. However, the male protagonist appeared too early and his methods were too tough, while the female protagonist has obviously not grown up yet, so it seems that the female protagonist is somewhat "controlled" and does not have the feeling of a sweet pet. Originally, I like to read romance novels with male protagonists, and I even searched for keywords about the male and female protagonists being together at the beginning. But in this novel, I originally thought that after the female protagonist has grown up and can stand alone, it will be a novel about the heroine without a male protagonist (a "social butterfly" like the heroine's godmother) or when the male protagonist appears again.
