In her previous life, Xu Niannian loved the wrong man and watched her family fall apart.
Reborn on the day of her engagement, she gets a call from her childhood friend, Cheng Yu. “Niannian, don't get engaged to him.”
She promptly calls off the engagement and tears into the scumbag Zhao Shiyan.
But Cheng Yu keeps drawing closer, protecting her at every turn.
Then she finds a yellowed diary by his bed. Every page records her daily joys and sorrows, and every line is filled with her name.
Only then does she realize she isn't the only one who came back to life.
She's not the only one who has never been able to forget.
