A civil engineering worker traveled through the wilderness, possessed the innate chalcedony and was reborn. He survived the tribulation and transformed into an immortal, awakening his heaven-defying gift of understanding. It just so happened that Taoist Zhunti sensed the fluctuations of the Great Dao and found him, and he was taken into Xumi Cave as his first direct disciple.
