Mingdu sat in the last row, by the window and by the back door. For three years, she kept everyone's secrets in her diary - who climbed over the wall in the middle of the night, who cried in the toilet, and who wrote the same name repeatedly on the back of the textbook. She thought she could lock it by writing it down.
Until the diary was lost. Someone opened it and spread it in the corner of the corridor. The person who picked it up was Chen Yan who just transferred it last week.
"I'm very familiar with the person who wrote it." He was talking about Luo Wufen. The girl who pointed at Mingdu and said "it stinks". But Mingdu soon discovered that he knew more than just Luo Wufen - he knew everyone in the diary, as if he had been waiting for it to be opened.
Later, Chen Yan placed a letter on her desk. "You wrote this three years ago, and someone tore it out and sent it to me." On that page was her handwriting from her freshman year of high school: "I heard that a boy was transferred from the provincial capital, and his name has the character "Yan" in it. I have never seen him. But the name is beautiful when written."
She doesn't remember. But she did write it. I wrote this before I met him.
And that afternoon three years ago, when she bought a click pen with the word "cool" engraved on it, a boy happened to pass by her. None of them looked back.
Three years later he received her diary, with his name written on a page inside.
There are some names you write and then forget. But the paper remembers. When the secret was torn apart, some people chose destruction, others chose redemption, and she chose to write the last page.
