Lin Wei, a female police officer from the serious crime team, found an old mark - "0713" on the palm of the seventh deceased.
That was a case she closed five years ago. The murderer Zhao Ming is dead and the file is sealed. But the markings on the new body were exactly the same, right down to the angle.
As she continued to investigate, her partners had accidents one after another, the forensic report was changed, and her sister and six-year-old niece disappeared at the same time. The only person who spoke for her was the new criminal investigation consultant Shen Yan, but the bottom of the coffee cup he handed over had the same number printed on it.
Included in the file was a photo taken at the police academy from twenty years ago. There was a person in the last row whose face was shaved off by a razor blade.
