[Redemption] [Terminal Illness Fiction] [Romance] [No System, Reborn]
Qing Fan misses the last bus and runs into a golden-haired girl, Zhou Xiaoxi, on a bridge. His own actions even cause a misunderstanding...
The girl's cutting words do not sound comforting to Qing Fan at all. Instead, he thinks she's trying to distance herself from him.
“Xiaoxi, maybe you really will become a suspect.”
“Then does that make me Qing Fan's savior?”
And so Zhou Xiaoxi, who calls herself his savior, asks Qing Fan to help her find someone.
But she can only vaguely recall a few scattered fragments about the person she is looking for.
Qing Fan thinks they will probably get nowhere all winter at this rate, but Zhou Xiaoxi doesn't mind. She firmly believes that as long as someone once existed, they must have left some kind of mark in a corner of the city, one that only a handful of people can understand.
As winter approaches, for one reason or another, Qing Fan feels as if he is in a dream, unable to grasp anything as real. Yet the girl, like a spirit of winter, truly does bring light to his dim life.
Though in the end, Qing Fan resolutely chooses to turn and walk into the darkness, he feels that Zhou Xiaoxi has something to do with his decision.
This is not a story about one person forgetting another, or one person taking another's place. As long as the world can keep going as usual, Qing Fan feels that everything else is no big deal~
