Great Ming: Black Rain Falls from the Sky, and a Tide of Corpses Rises

In the twenty-fifth year of Hongwu, I transmigrated to the Ming dynasty and worked my fingers to the bone for two years.

I built roads, improved sanitation, found better seeds, controlled floods, and expanded trade, somehow bringing a rundown, impoverished county back to life.

I thought I’d finally earned the right to take it easy and enjoy myself, but my jealous superior went off the rails and had me bundled into a prison cart and hauled to the capital to be executed.

I was completely numb. I was just doing my job. How could the Ming bureaucracy be even more cutthroat than the modern rat race?

Just as I was losing hope and preparing to accept my fate, a strange black rain poured down from the sky!

Everyone along the road turned into bloodthirsty zombies. The guards escorting me all got wiped out and became zombie snacks.
