Parasitic Catastrophe: Hunting the Deep-Space Broodmother

A parasitic catastrophe descends from the heavens. Jun Ling pilots a mech, slaughtering mutated beasts and impostors.

Humanity has a comprehensive air defense system, a century of aerospace achievements, and military resources for global warfare. It has a full 128-day advance warning window.

But geopolitical conflicts drain the firepower of the war zones, and humanity’s infighting ultimately breaks through civilization’s defenses.

Once the spores hit the ground, only the cruelest, most unsparing laws of the universe remain: devour flesh, build up bodies, assimilate ecosystems, and establish nests.

Those infected retain their appearance and memories, but lose all humanity;

Wild beasts shed the constraints of their instincts, breaking through the limits of carbon-based life through endless slaughter;

The irradiated deep sea becomes a hellish breeding ground, as gigantic parasitic species quietly evolve.

The borders of the old world collapse, and the order of civilization is wiped clean.

At the brink of extinction, humanity abandons every division, and the Blue Star Federation is born.

Two generations pave the way with their flesh and blood. Humanity takes mechs as shields and genes as blades, carving out a chance to survive the parasitic catastrophe.

The catastrophe finally ends, and the Star Era begins.

Humanity enters the interstellar age, and civilization divides into three branches:

The native human race guards its home planet and preserves the roots of civilization;

Genetically enhanced armies defend the star sea and command the Solar System’s front lines;

Clusters of mechanically immortal beings drift through deep space in search of the source of the calamity.

A neutral academy rises on Mars.

The peaceful prosperity of the present buries the bloody past, and the new generation gradually forgets:

The Blue Star catastrophe was never the end of the world, only the vanguard seed of an extraterrestrial parasitic civilization.

Disaster-stricken planets are scattered across the star sea, advanced broodmothers lie hidden in the darkness, and comprehensive hive-control systems span unknown star regions. The all-out annihilation of carbon-based civilizations has never truly ended.
