Host of the Myriad Worlds: Old Zhu, Put the Knife Down First!

Lin Jie, a broadcasting student who finds himself unemployed right after graduation, unexpectedly unlocks the Historical Host System. His interviews are broadcast live to people from every dynasty in history.

He travels between worlds to interview all kinds of famous figures. He covers “Ying Zheng: The Unmatched Emperor of the Ages,” spoiling the rapid fall of the Qin Empire’s second generation and leaving the First Emperor stunned; reports on “Tales of the Cao Wei Court,” revealing Sima Yi’s takeover of Wei and leaving Cao Cao speechless; and hosts “A Portrait of the Ming Dynasty,” spoiling the history of the Hongwu reign in advance and setting the Ming Dynasty’s ominous theme song playing early. When he even mentions Chongzhen’s fate, Zhu Yuanzhang angrily slams his desk.

He chats with Li Bai, the Poet Immortal, and pokes fun at Liu Bei and Sun Quan. From a broadcaster’s perspective, he fills in the gaps in the history books and shows the funny side of the ancients in all its glory.

Ying Zheng: “An interview is fine, but could you stop spoiling the fate of my Qin Empire?”

Li Shimin: “An interview is fine, but why did you start by asking if I really like crying?”

Cao Cao: “Why does everyone in later generations call me a Cao thief? And why is my score higher when I don’t have the First Emperor’s sword?!”

Zhu Yuanzhang: “My Ying’er... my wife... my Biao’er... my Ming Dynasty...” (In the background: “Flowers bloom, then fade, filling the sky; you appear and disappear again...!”)

Kang Mazi: “I only added a couple of characters. Why do I have to kneel for this interview?”

Lin Jie: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this episode of our cross-temporal interview!”

Then one day, videos of his interviews with the ancients spread across the internet, and things started getting interesting!
