(First person self-narration, text third person), the author is a novice and the writing is not good.
My name is Bai Lai, born in the 13th year of Guangxu's reign. When I was a child, I was picked up in a wild temple in a deserted mountain by a crazy Taoist priest (Taoist name "Idle") who traveled around. The Taoist priest only taught me two things: one was the obscure Feng Shui formula in "The Seven Lots of Clouds", and the other was full of nonsense.
When I was eighteen years old, a Taoist priest took me to an unknown ancient tomb in western Hunan. There is nothing valuable in the tomb, only a jade servant with black beads embedded in it. I picked it with my weak hands, and the jade servant broke into pieces, and the beads burrowed into my chest like living things. The Taoist priest's face changed drastically, and he left the words "This calamity should happen in your life, so you should take care of it" and drifted away, never to be seen again.
