Around 2040, global energy prices fluctuated at high levels, and low-Earth orbit entered an era of intense competition. High-end manufacturing software, aerospace materials, optical chips, and orbital logistics insurance were deeply controlled by a multinational technology consortium, the "Hermes Alliance." Although China has a complete industrial base, it continues to be constrained in several high-end links. After a debris chain accident in low-Earth orbit, the costs of international shipping, satellite maintenance and high-altitude logistics have skyrocketed, and countries are scrambling to seize the orbital industry window. The private aerospace supporting factory where the protagonist works was shorted by capital, orders were cut off, and the factory was on the verge of liquidation; and in a sudden power outage and equipment explosion accident, he accidentally activated the "Return to Zero Laboratory System" from the future failure timeline. The system does not provide a ready-made black box, but can only provide the "optimal achievable route under current world conditions". Only after completing a reality verification can the next section of the technology tree be unlocked.
