After transmigrating into the world as one of the Uchiha clan's orphans, he awakens a Pokemon System. To complete its missions and obtain Pokemon, he starts appearing on a street corner in Konoha.

A little girl out shopping with her mother sees Ash crouching beside a trash can, talking to a rat, and can't help looking up at her mother to ask:

“Mom, what is that big brother doing?”

“Shh, sweetie. He's a fool. Stay away from him.”

Ash pays no attention to the stares around him. His eyes are fixed solely on the rat before him.

“Pikachu! Use Quick Attack!”

Rat: “Squeak?”
