Dear Ms. Shen

Two female leads / Healing each other / Six-year age gap / Love grows over time / From student days to working life / Small-town fiction

Main couple: Shen Sheng and Ke Lan, a fiery little pepper vs. a devoted, steadfast puppy.

Secondary couple: Cai Jing and Tan Chun, a bewitching beauty vs. a poker-faced bodyguard.

Shen Sheng, the young owner of a hair salon, meets Ke Lan, a high school student, by chance during a heavy rainstorm.

They both think that once the rain stops, they’ll go back to their own lives and never cross paths again. Little do they know that fate has already begun bringing them together. Shen Sheng gives Ke Lan a place to stay and money, and helps her get into college. During this time, Ke Lan slowly falls in love with the sharp-tongued but soft-hearted salon owner.

Simply put, it’s a story about two little bitter melons who overcome every obstacle and find happiness together as wives.
