As the 2026 World Cup expands, undercurrents surge beneath the surface. The teams clash on the pitch, while behind the scenes, nations wage battles with secret arts.
In the Round of 32, Ghana’s hidden wizard casts a field-wide Muti spell to drain his opponents’ vitality. He scatters white enchanted powder across the stadium, sealing away the life force of every player on Colombia’s team. The eleven men struggle to move and make mistake after mistake.
Only the goalkeeper, possessed by a god, stands alone to defend the goal, bearing the full force of the curse that eats away at his team. Colombia wins in the final moments, but no one realizes that the goalkeeper offered himself as a vessel to summon the god, making victory possible.
Xiao Yan, the Colombian team doctor and heir to the ancient Nine Needle Soul-Returning technique, saves lives with his needles and breaks the Ghanaian witch doctor’s secret spell. Then he leads Colombia onward.
But this is only the beginning.
As the team advances through the Round of 16, the quarterfinals, and the semifinals, Xiao Yan ventures deeper into every corner of the soccer world. While others compete to be faster, higher, and stronger, he alone travels from stadium to stadium with his needles, protecting China’s athletes and breaking every sinister secret art lurking in the shadows of global soccer!
