My Mother-in-Law’s Tonic, the Medicine at the Bottom of the Bowl

Very exciting, recommended [like][like][like][original party][plus one on bookshelf]

The part where the nanny accidentally let something slip was heart-wrenching to watch, but luckily I had paid attention to it earlier.

Is the mother-in-law a good person or a bad person? Is the medicine at the bottom of the bowl really just for "toning"? Do you finish the soup your mother-in-law makes for you every time? I used to think that it was a blessing for my mother-in-law to spend two hours every day making soup and serving it in front of me. Everyone in the circle of friends is envious, saying that I married into a good family. Until I saw this story—— I have a mother-in-law who worked in a hospital pharmacy for more than 20 years before retiring. She makes soup for her daughter-in-law every day, on time, rain or shine. The soup is dark brown, bitter and astringent. It is said to be prepared with traditional Chinese medicine. My daughter-in-law drank it for half a year. My hands start to shake, my memory gets worse and worse, I get distracted during meetings, I pass the subway station, I forget to take a towel when I take a shower. The boss talked to her, and her colleagues looked at her with sympathy. She thought it was due to too much work pressure. Until one day, a layer of white sediment appeared at the bottom of the bowl. She dug through the trash and found a small brown pill bottle. Two words on the bottom of the bottle: Su Nian. The name of her husband's ex-wife. On the bottle is Olanzapine. Antipsychotic drugs. My mother-in-law is a retired pharmacist. She knows how to remove the label, how to mix it into the soup, and how to make it impossible for you to drink it. The scariest thing is not that someone drugged the soup. This is this person who has been working professionally for more than 20 years. There are even more spine-chilling details in the story.
