Don’t Call Me the One-Handed Top Laner, Call Me the Rift’s True God

A broken arm, a fallen genius! I was the LPL's most promising top laner, but on the eve of the finals, the doctors pronounced my career dead.

When I woke up in my hospital bed, my teammates didn't come to check on me. Instead, the team handed me a cold termination contract. The once-brilliant young prodigy became a laughingstock overnight, a useless has-been who could only scrape by as a small-time streamer.

Just as I was losing heart and preparing to leave the stage for good, a mechanical voice boomed inside my mind:

[Ding! The Host's intense unwillingness has been detected. The LPL Savior System has been activated!]

[Complete the System's missions to heal your injuries and restore your peak mechanics. You can even break your limits and unlock superhuman reaction speed!]

“Win a game using your feet?”

“Reach Challenger while playing only one champion on stream?”

“Solo-kill Faker five times in a single match?”

With the System's outrageous rewards, even these absurd missions are no problem!

And so, a mad king of the Rift bursts onto the scene!

The club manager who once kicked me out now kneels in my stream, begging me to come back and play just one best-of-three!

The haters who used to mock me as “Broken-Hand Bro” now cry and beg me to turn on my camera so they can see how many hands I really have!

A crushing defeat at Worlds leaves the entire league in its darkest hour? Korean imports dominate, and there's no homegrown top laner left to rely on?

Then I'll be the one to put an end to this so-called “Korea-phobia era”!

When I step onto the finals stage once more, facing the team that once swept us without dropping a game, the whole world asks:

Has the former god of the top lane really returned?
